I started fishing at around the age of 11, some school friends decided to go on the local can between the local football season, after visiting my dads shed I found a 5ft rod and reel and some terminal tackle that belonged to my Grandad years before. Round 3 of the Soar Valley Winter League and the half way point, in the last round we had shown some improvement and as a team we were pleased and looking to continue this progression as we all get to know the river better. Due to some un avoidable circumstances we were a couple of anglers short so we had to call in last minute replacements, many thanks to Andy and Wilson for stepping in for us this round.
