A PRODUCT REVIEW - LONDON COMPACT RIGID HOLDALL-DAVE MELLORS

MIDLANDS ANGLING SUPPLIES PRODUCT REVIEW By TEAM MAS MEMBER:  David Mellors

SENSAS London Compact Rigid Holdall.

The product is new for 2017 from The Sensas catalogue and is the London Compact Rigid Holdall available in 2 sizes 180x17x14 REF:23573 and 205x17x14 REF: 23574 in the fetching Dark Sensas Green and Black London Livery, the Holdalls come in various sizes with spacious amount of pockets and if like me you fill these with items that you may need in the future that just clutter your holdall up and make it heavy and awkward at times to carry, this Compact Rigid Holdall is slimline for short trips, compact, practical, overseas/travelling, transportation in vehicles and is well designed by the team at Sensas and constructed with plastic inserts protecting your top kits and poles for easier transportation.

Upon seeing the description/pictures I was curious with this product as im always looking to keep my Sensas luaggage and equipment in a neat and organised condition, as I like to carry at least 1 x13M Pole plus at least 1 extension, and with  spare number 4s and number 5s as most commanly used sections to carry as well and at  least 10 top kits, this storage faciltiy caters for those needs and reduces the size of a conventially holdall by 100%, with the added inclusion of the rubber protectors/extensions these can be cut to length to save your top kits and other sections sliding up/down to the bottom of the holdall and everything is at hands reach at the top of the Holdall for easier identification.

Within the main compartment is split with the rigid plastic tubes(x2 round, x6 rectangular), poles and extensions can be stored safely with the added bonus that the top kits x2 (side by side or top to bottom) can be stored in 1 tube, whilst these if not required for further top kits can also hold a number 5 section and 4 section making it 1 of the most Compact Rigid Holdalls on the Market today.

In total there is 2 main compartments for poles and 6 compartments for top kits / top 4/5 inside the main holdall

The London Compact Rigid Holdall also surports 2 slimline fully zipped exterior pockets, designed for other essentails like brollies, bank sticks rods, and net handels. If like me you do not carrry an umberall all the time then this compartment can double up to hold top kits and spare sections as required releasing even more room to house further pole sections of your choice ( recommend when using side pockes for pole sections keep them in other plastic tubes to protect from damage. Exterior tubes not supplied) and can hold 3 tubes in 1 pocket containg numbers 4s and number 5s.

Neat and Compact holdall, takes loads of tackle to the bank, ease with carrying or attached to trolley.
